A Career at the Intersection of Storytelling and Innovation:
I am a Disney veteran with over 15 years of experience, including 12 years at Feature Animation as a 3D Character Animator, Supervising Animator, and Story Developer. During my tenure, I played a key role in ushering CGI into Disney’s animation pipeline, contributing to the studio’s transition from traditional to computer-generated animation.
I worked on iconic films such as Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Mickey’s Philharmagic, and Chicken Little—Disney’s first fully CG-animated feature. I later animated and supervised at DisneyToon Studios, working on Planes 1 & 2 and Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy, further expanding Disney’s CG animation legacy.
This period was where I developed my deep passion for character, storytelling, and the evolving technology of animation.
My career began when Academy Award-winning VFX artist Tim McGovern hired me straight out of CalArts to join Metrolight Studios, one of the pioneering CGI companies. Later, Tim went on to establish Sony Pictures Imageworks. At Metrolight, I worked on films, commercials, and theme park attractions, gaining hands-on experience in the evolving world of visual effects.
I co-wrote and directed the independent live-action feature film Desert Vows, a project developed at the forefront of digital video innovation in the early 2000s. This experience allowed me to explore emerging digital filmmaking techniques while honing my skills in storytelling, directing, and production.
At Mattel, I co-developed the story and characters for Charms, an episodic animated TV series that was in advanced negotiations with Netflix. Additionally, I co-led a team of over 40 artists in writing and producing four high-quality 3D trailers for the project.
More recently, at The Third Floor—the industry leader in pre-visualization—I contributed to the pre-vis for major Marvel films, including Captain Marvel, Venom, and Deadpool 2, as well as other high-profile feature films and episodic television projects.
Eventually I switched to Advertising and Growth Marketing and as Executive Creative Director at the former industry leader Consumer Acquisition (which was bought and dissolved), I built and led the Consumer Acquisition Creative Studio. My remote, international, 50% woman, 40+ production team, of Creative Directors, Writers, Animators, Editors, and Filmmakers produced on average 400 videos a month that were launched and tested on Facebook, Google, Tik Tok, and Snapchat, for clients such as Glu, Zynga, Rovio, Wooga, Supercell, Disney, King, Ubisoft, Jam City, Playrix, Roblox, and about a hundred more in all types of verticals like fintech, health, and e-commerce. My team and I also produced high quality, full length 3D and Live Action commercials. In 5 years we produced over 25 thousand videos that received about $150 million in monthly ad spend.
For the past two years, I co-founded and co-own Work Dog Studios, a growth marketing and advertising agency, where I also served as the Executive Creative Director. The studio specializes in user acquisition, 2D and 3D animation, live-action production, and AI-driven content.
Now, I’m focused on pioneering the future of AI-driven storytelling, animation, and advertising. Whether developing next-generation creative workflows, directing AI-enhanced content, or consulting with top studios and brands, I’m dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible at the intersection of technology and storytelling.
